Original Designs from Traditional Motifs

Aziza Juma is a slight dark haired woman in her forties with eight children, two of them sun-sensitive, and an ill husband.  She, however, is an artist in thread with an incredible sense of design and color.

One American visitor who saw one design when she first pulled it out of her purse in our office in Hebron, cried out, "I have to buy that for my brother who is an artist!  He'll love it!"
We wonder if the brother framed the pillow cover, as Europeans do, or if he turned it into a wall hanging by putting a dowel across the top inside and hanging it up by a cord, or if he merely used it as a striking designer pillow on a sofa.
But of course we had the design copied before we allowed the American to buy the pillow cover so that others can enjoy the artistry of it also!

This product comes with the pillow insert, but is also available without it (only the pillow cover).

Pillow covers are embroidered with DMC thread on washable cotton Aida cloth.
