These table runners make any table or chest of drawers look elegant.

Long handmade table runners are made on beautifully patterned cloth that is hand woven in Jordan by women in the city of Salt.
Queen Noor of Jordan started a project teaching women how to weave cloth in the traditional way.  The table runners are made there and then transported to Hebron, where poor women hand embroider beautiful traditional patterns on them.
The weaving takes about seven hours and the embroidery about 70-90 hours.
The women embroider at home when they are not busy caring for their children.

The pieces are fully hand washable.
